About Tricia Tamkin

Tricia Tamkin grew up in the Chicago suburbs, the only girl in the boys’ baseball league, and spent her teenage years fitting in gymnastics, cheerleading, and a starring role in Grease between innings.

At 19, she interviewed for a job she’d never heard of – Headhunter. The next morning, she called the agency owner and told him she was going to be a recruiter, either for him or someone else. He hired her. She was the top producer in the firm before she was old enough to order a drink.

When a boss told her to play nicer in the sandbox, she opened her own executive search firm instead. She ran it for nearly two decades, survived more than most people face in a lifetime, and eventually pivoted into training when a client asked her to build a recruiting team rather than fill one.

For the past sixteen years, Tricia has been a recognized leader in both the recruiting industry and the emerging application of AI to recruiting work. She’s the co-founder of Moore eSSentials and creator of The Complete Library and has accumulated over 175 testimonials on LinkedIn from practitioners at every level of the industry. She still makes cold calls and answers her own phone.

Go ahead and call her at 630.240.4454. She’ll pick up. Just make sure it’s because you want to invest in yourself. She’s been in recruiting long enough to know within thirty seconds if you do.

Tricia and Jason are some of the best trainers out there for the recruiting industry. Their live Moore Essentials “eSSourcing” class was very thorough and included plenty of time for live practice. As trainers, they are prepared, thorough, and very generous with answering questions and sharing knowledge (even via email outside of class). They even threw in a few extra training modules.

I’ve been through several recruiting coaching programs but Tricia and Jason’s stand out from the crowd. They are generous with their time and knowledge in addition to sharing current expertise with a sense of humor. If you haven’t signed up for any of their programs, you’re missing out!

I just finished a training course with Tricia and Jason and I found them to be amazing coaches/leaders. They are a wealth of knowledge in sourcing/recruiting and business development. They are extremely organized and the two of them are perfectly in sync with their trainings. They provided tools and resources that are in line with today’s technology and they are fun to listen to. They both have an amazing sense of humor and are fun and engaging. I was amazed by all of the insightful tools they provided that were so helpful in my business. I would absolutely recommend their courses and I can’t wait to take another! Thank you, Tricia and Jason!

I signed up for four weeks of More Essentials’ Client Cornucopia to improve my skills in business development and client acquisition. I found it sufficiently helpful and there was so much to learn that I signed up for a full year of access to Client Cornucopia. I found it helpful both for the content it provided and for the camaraderie with other recruiters. It challenges you in new and old areas to do what you need to do to be at your best as a recruiter. I heartily recommend it.

Hiring Tricia & Jason as business coaches is the best investment I’ve made as a business owner to date. It’s not even close actually…the ROI they add beyond the normal coach is crazy. I wanted coaches who wouldn’t coach me into their ‘box’ which is what I have found with others. Usually, you’ll find a coach who is good in one area of the business – one type of business development, candidate relationships, technology…these two are beyond amazing at all of it. In addition to private coaching, I’ve taken eSourcing essentials and client cornucopia which are game-changing and beyond anything else you can find on youtube or some of the big ‘sourcing’ guru websites. Their ways, ideas are innovative and things you won’t ever find ‘written’ about in posts on websites. You’ll walk away with scripts, headlines, and more value than you can imagine. You won’t be scrambling trying to write everything down either. Their trainings are so well organized and managed. They are advanced and 10 steps of others. The ideas, the accountability, and the pure value are beyond what I expected and its obvious others thought it too…the classes were engaged, people didn’t drop off which is unheard of in a no-video session. They actually give you tools/resources i.e I now have quick links that were quickly loaded to my computer within seconds. Last…the way they run their business is jaw-dropping. When I say they are on time to the minute every single meeting to the minute- not kidding that in itself is unheard of today. So much more to share but I am thankful to have found Tricia and Jason. At the end of the day I believe they will help me a better communicator, business owner, recruiter, and person.

Another recruiter highly recommended Moore Essentials and I am so glad I took the course! Tricia and Jason have a lot of knowledge on how to recruit candidates that no one else can find. They both have a great sense of humor and make training fun! I will recommend their training to anyone who wants to learn alternative ways to find candidates and grow their staffing business!

It is rare that a training class makes an impact in daily work product on day one, but that is exactly what Tricia’s program offers. Not only is her class content comprehensive and easy to follow, her wealth and depth of knowledge in the sourcing and recruiting space in invaluable. If you are looking to take your recruiting and sourcing activities to the next level, Tricia’s eSourcing eSSentials is a must!
