About Tricia Tamkin

Tricia Tamkin grew up in the Chicago suburbs, the only girl in the boys’ baseball league, and spent her teenage years fitting in gymnastics, cheerleading, and a starring role in Grease between innings.

At 19, she interviewed for a job she’d never heard of – Headhunter. The next morning, she called the agency owner and told him she was going to be a recruiter, either for him or someone else. He hired her. She was the top producer in the firm before she was old enough to order a drink.

When a boss told her to play nicer in the sandbox, she opened her own executive search firm instead. She ran it for nearly two decades, survived more than most people face in a lifetime, and eventually pivoted into training when a client asked her to build a recruiting team rather than fill one.

For the past sixteen years, Tricia has been a recognized leader in both the recruiting industry and the emerging application of AI to recruiting work. She’s the co-founder of Moore eSSentials and creator of The Complete Library and has accumulated over 175 testimonials on LinkedIn from practitioners at every level of the industry. She still makes cold calls and answers her own phone.

Go ahead and call her at 630.240.4454. She’ll pick up. Just make sure it’s because you want to invest in yourself. She’s been in recruiting long enough to know within thirty seconds if you do.

Tricia is a great asset to any Recruiter’s training program. I had very little knowledge of Boolean Searches prior to my enrollment in to Tricia’s class but she was such an excellent instructor that I feel like a Pro in just four weeks. She is such a wealth of knowledge and goes beyond her requirements to assist you.

Tricia is an amazing trainer. Her experience and insight into the world of e-sourcing and Internet search are unparalleled. I strongly recommend her to anyone that wants to learn how to find candidates using unique search methodologies.

Jason Huls

Senior Video Producer at Midwestern University

After taking Tricia and Jason’s eSourcing class, I can’t fathom how someone wouldn’t have consistent work if the techniques are implemented properly. Beyond that, much of what they teach can be applied to any kind of online searching. Extremely useful information. To say their tips and techniques are out-of-the-box is an understatement.

Katie Roth

Executive Search

This class was one of the most worthwhile training sessions I have had in a long time. Tricia does a great job of explaining the “whys and wherefores”, making sure the participants truly understand and grasp the information, has a great sense of humor, and the hours fly by. If you are serious about recruiting this is a must have in your skill set.

Bruce Bauer

President, Executive Career Consultants

First, I am appreciative of what I have learned as a result of her experience in sourcing! Second, she is excellent at delivering her ideas! Bruce Bauer

Bob Kuecker

Boston Area Representative at Links Players Intl

When I first received an email about taking a course on learning how to write internet search strings, I was totally skeptical. Now, after taking the course with Tricia, I wish I had taken it many years ago. Tricia has opened my eyes up to the world of internet search and has revitalized my search career. She is truly an expert and knows how to communicate compicated information fo those of us to whom tech stuff does not come naturally. I cannot say enough about her. I am deeply indebted to her.

I just completed the 4 week program and all I can say is WOW! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to leverage the power of the internet in search…of anything! All the Best!
