About Tricia Tamkin

Tricia Tamkin grew up in the Chicago suburbs, the only girl in the boys’ baseball league, and spent her teenage years fitting in gymnastics, cheerleading, and a starring role in Grease between innings.

At 19, she interviewed for a job she’d never heard of – Headhunter. The next morning, she called the agency owner and told him she was going to be a recruiter, either for him or someone else. He hired her. She was the top producer in the firm before she was old enough to order a drink.

When a boss told her to play nicer in the sandbox, she opened her own executive search firm instead. She ran it for nearly two decades, survived more than most people face in a lifetime, and eventually pivoted into training when a client asked her to build a recruiting team rather than fill one.

For the past sixteen years, Tricia has been a recognized leader in both the recruiting industry and the emerging application of AI to recruiting work. She’s the co-founder of Moore eSSentials and creator of The Complete Library and has accumulated over 175 testimonials on LinkedIn from practitioners at every level of the industry. She still makes cold calls and answers her own phone.

Go ahead and call her at 630.240.4454. She’ll pick up. Just make sure it’s because you want to invest in yourself. She’s been in recruiting long enough to know within thirty seconds if you do.

Tricia really knows her stuff! She and Jason have created an excellent class that started paying for itself after the first session. The follow up and support ongoing have also been very helpful. I highly recommend it!

Tanner Smith

Entrepreneur/General Contractor

Tricia is a very talented, consciences, organized teacher who, almost more importantly, is an expert in what she is teaching. I learned invaluable material that will help my company prosper for a long time to come. I highly suggest Tricia for any position you may have that demands a high-speed, organized, process-oriented, individual with applicable experience!

Steve Faulkner, CEBS

I partner with Employee Benefits companies to recruit top sales

I have taken a number of one off seminars on boolean searching but none have come close to value I received from taking Tricia’s (and Jason’s) class. I recommend it to any recruiter who is serious about learning how to use the internet to get a search started; and what good recruiter isn’t?

Cutting edge recruitment technology expert! Official hybrid of a ninja and eSourcerer.

Samuel Ebeyer

Assistant Operations Manager at Torq/Lite

Tricia is a consummate professional with an extensive understanding of the logic and syntax necessary for effective e-Sourcing. Her methods have been extremely useful and I have immediately utilized what I have learned with success. The world is changing; e-Sourcing is the equivalent of using an excavator when I’d grown accustomed to using a shovel. There is a learning curve but with a little practice and a little study, the methods will speak for themselves.

Lindsey S.

Talent Acquisition Consultant

Tricia provided a fast-paced content full webinar that was both interesting and applicable to my learning requirements. She provided her expertise in a manner that was easy to understand and we were able to use everything we were learning right from the first class.

Brad Robertson

Medical and Dental Industry Recruiter

Question: Can you recommend someone that is an expert trainer in internet search techniques for the recruiting industry? Google Search: “rock star” trainer “boolean logic” “(esourcing OR “e-sourcing”) (training OR program OR webinar)” (“black magic” OR hacker OR genius OR expert) -boring -dull ~amazing Results: Tricia Tamkin, ECRE and Jason Thibeault, ECRE

Cara Houshmand, MPA

Career Coach

I highly recommend Tricia and Jason’s eSSentials: An Intro to eSourcing. It is much more than Boolean searching and they delve into the why’s and how behind it so you walk away with a deep understanding and ability to effectively put all of the information together. I was finding better candidates after week 1, 4 sessions later and I am routinely finding those “purple squirrels” in less time that it used to find mediocre candidates. Tricia title of Master of sorcery is well deserved.

Nadeen Bennett

V.P of Human Resources

I had the pleasure of attending a two day in house e-sourcing clinic with Tricia as our leader. She was able to in plain english explain how to use the tools to take our business to the next level. She ensured that everyone was “good to go” before moving on and took the time needed. It was two days very well spent!
